Position Overview - Credit Union Advisor III
This role is pivotal in fostering enduring relationships with Members through various communication channels including face-to-face interactions, video calls, and telephone conversations. The individual in this position is expected to consistently present a positive first impression as the main point of contact. The primary focus is to identify Members' financial requirements and provide tailored product and service recommendations. The Advisor is committed to delivering exceptional service and value, ensuring that every interaction leaves a favorable impression. This position aligns with TTCU's Mission, Vision, and Core Values, ensuring that all service standards reflect these guiding principles. Compliance with regulatory mandates, including the Bank Secrecy Act, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
30% Engage with Members and non-members to assist with loan applications, ensuring thorough information gathering, completeness checks, and maintaining open communication regarding any loan-related inquiries.
30% Facilitate the opening of new accounts through in-person, phone, or video interactions, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately and adheres to TTCU's policies and auditing standards.
20% Collaborate with Branch Management on various tasks, including fostering meaningful relationships with Members that contribute to achieving service and production goals. This includes providing technical support and guidance that enhances Members' financial well-being.
20% Drive the achievement of service and production targets by cultivating trusting relationships with Members and colleagues, staying updated on current offerings, and utilizing KeyInsight to assess Member needs and suggest relevant services.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; ability to become a notary public and maintain Oklahoma Resident Limited Producer License (NMLS).
Experience: A minimum of 4 years in customer service within banking, retail, or a related sector is required. Bilingual skills in Spanish or another language are preferred.
