Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary expert for all systems, processes, and document management methods utilized within Business Services.
- Assist in the selection, testing, and troubleshooting of vendor products and software upgrades as necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, policies, and procedures, applying them effectively in daily operations.
- Collaborate closely with Business Services team members to develop reporting and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Ensure all systems function effectively to enhance member service through supportive technology.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $83,129 to $103,912. Actual placement within this range will be determined based on individual experience and organizational needs.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in commercial lending, administration of commercial lending platforms, and document management. Previous experience in commercial underwriting is preferred, as is experience within a financial institution.
Work experience or military service may be considered in lieu of education, with two years of experience equating to one year of education. Additional educational qualifications may also satisfy experience requirements.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Incumbent Bonding is required as mandated by TFCU's chosen authority.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record is necessary.
Success Factors:
To excel as a Commercial Operations Specialist, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of TFCU policies and procedures.
- Strong familiarity with software systems such as Jack Henry, NCino, Silverlake, Symitar, and LaserPro.
- Ability to learn and adapt to various software and systems as required.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial document and file management.
- General knowledge of commercial underwriting guidelines.
- Awareness of federal and state regulations governing commercial loans.
- Excellent research and organizational skills.
- Effective communication abilities with staff and management.
- Capability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Broad understanding of all aspects of Business Services.
