Gillette Children's Specialty Health is seeking a distinguished leader in pediatric orthopedics to occupy the Orthopedic Section Chief position. As a clinical leader, you will work with administrative partners to ensure that the efforts of section members align with the mission and vision of Gillette Children's.
The Section Chief is a key figure in clinical care, dedicating most of their time to patient care. This includes inpatient care, outpatient care, surgical services, call coverage, communications, referrals, rounding, and participation on interdisciplinary teams.
Gillette Children's maintains a close relationship with the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopedic Surgery, with many of its orthopedic surgeons holding faculty appointments. As a leader at Gillette, you will have a leadership title and be eligible for a faculty title and rank at U of MN.
The division treats patients with rare and complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, focusing on conditions such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and rare genetic disorders. The care model is structured around every child's needs, with a team of specialists from various clinical disciplines.
