About the Role

Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Craniofacial and Plastic Surgeon to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality surgical services that meet patient needs and adhere to current surgical practices.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care, as well as consultative clinical care for patients in our programs.
  • Develop clinical criteria to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of surgical care provided.
  • Consult with primary care physicians to coordinate patient care and maximize health outcomes.
  • Assume administrative, research, and education responsibilities within the Craniofacial section.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education to maintain expertise in areas of specialization.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Teach and mentor Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare residents, medical students, and fellows.
Requirements
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
  • Completion of a minimum one-year Pediatric Craniofacial fellowship.
  • Qualifications to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota, including DEA license.
  • Current certification in CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association).
  • Clinical proficiency in the area of medical specialty.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing patients with complex chronic conditions.
  • Ability to build trust and respect with patients, staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
  • Capacity to work cooperatively within a diverse environment.
