About the Role

Gillette Children's is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Craniofacial and Plastic Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing surgical services that meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality surgical care.
  • Develop and implement clinical criteria for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of surgical care.
  • Consult with primary care physicians to coordinate care and maximize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in administrative, research, and education responsibilities within the Craniofacial section.
  • Continuously educate yourself to maintain competency in areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and fellows.
Requirements
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
  • Completion of a minimum one-year Pediatric Craniofacial fellowship.
  • Qualifications to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota, including DEA license.
  • Current certification in CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association).
  • Clinical proficiency in area of medical specialty.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing patients with complex chronic conditions.
  • Ability to build trust and respect with patients, staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
  • Capacity to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
