Neuromuscular Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellow

Job Opportunity: Gillette Children's Specialty Health is seeking a skilled Orthopedic physician for a 6-month neuromuscular subspecialty fellowship. The goal of this training program is to provide advanced subspecialty training in neuromuscular orthopaedic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in clinic with staff physician, with exposure to pediatric and adult patients with neuromuscular disorders.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary clinics, including spasticity evaluation clinic, spina bifida, early motor delay, neuromuscular upper extremity, and muscular dystrophy clinics.
- Work alongside orthopaedic surgery residents in a collaborative and supportive manner.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited (or equivalent) residency in orthopaedic surgery and a POSNA or ACGME accredited fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery.
- Eligibility for/obtain a physician/surgeon Minnesota Medical License.
Benefits and Compensation:
Benefits will be provided by Gillette Children's Specialty Health. Compensation will be at the level of a PGY-6 trainee in the state of Minnesota for the 6-month tenure.
