Job SummaryWe are seeking a distinguished Principal Investigator with previous clinical research experience to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Investigator, you will lead and oversee clinical research studies covering a range of therapeutic areas and indications.
Key Responsibilities- Implement research protocols for clinical trials across various therapeutic areas, ensuring adherence to study protocols and ethical guidelines.
- Report adverse events in a timely manner and review sponsor-provided safety reports.
- Review informed consent forms and inclusion/exclusion criteria with the internal research team.
- Provide medical support to Sub-Investigators and study staff for protocol-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including IRB approvals, GCP guidelines, and federal and state regulations.
- Work closely with sponsors, CROs, and other research professionals to ensure successful study execution and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Supervise and mentor research staff, including sub-investigators, study coordinators, research nurses, and other team members involved in clinical trials.
- Education: MD or DO license in good standing; board certification (we are willing to consider a variety of specialties)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing and managing clinical trials.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of clinical research methodologies, regulatory requirements, and GCP. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to advancing psychiatric research.
