Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales and project management teams. This person will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth to meet existing company targets. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in successful sales management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of sales operations, including team members and processes.
  • Set sales goals and quotas and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Oversee CRM utilization to ensure Sales Team is fully leveraging program capabilities.
  • Create and adhere to the sales department budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align strategies with overall objectives.
  • Research the market and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to perform at their highest potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Assist the sales team with production details, work change orders, and communication with clients.
  • Assist the sales team with sales quotes, accurate job costing, pricing, and profitability reporting by job.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales management, preferably in the hospitality, event planning, or rental industries.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to overall team success.
  • Knowledge of the event rental industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
