Senior Patient Service Representative

The Senior Patient Service Representative is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role requires a high level of expertise, independence, and minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities- Check in and out patients, collect co-payments, and reconcile payments.
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information in CS-Link.
- Schedule appointments, complete patient registration, and collect patient payments.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and establish collaborative relationships with peers, physicians, patients, and departments.
- Coordinate communication between patients, family members, medical staff, administrative staff, insurance plans, and other departments.
- Participate in lean management processes, detailing, monitoring, and updating department-specific data.
- Manage physician master schedules and coordinate schedule changes.
- Handle patient/provider correspondence and process referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
- Monitor patient care flow and assist with monitoring CS-Link message pools and standard work.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Three (3) years of Patient Service Representative or Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient medical office setting required.
