Job Title: Associate Director, Media

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Media to join our team at Publicis Sapient. As a senior media expert, you will provide departmental or capability leadership and increase visibility of the media practice while demonstrating leadership on key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of 3-4 media professionals and ensure media strategies and deliverables meet or exceed the strategic requirements of the client, add value, and meet Publicis Sapient's quality standards.

- Manage, motivate, and mentor media staff in the development and execution of digital media initiatives and drive new business efforts.

- Partner with other key agencies and contribute to issue resolution between both parties.

- Develop and maintain publisher relationships, including senior-level contacts.

- Manage one or more mid-size account ($30-50 million in total spend) and provide marketing expertise, including online and offline strategy development for clients and client teams.

- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and getting new Media Planners up to speed.

- Lead Media Training and foster an environment of shared learning.

Requirements:

- 5-7 years of media planning or equivalent business experience; minimum 4+ years in online media preferred.

- 3+ years management experience preferred.

- Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills.

- Excellent communication and writing skills.

- Strong project and time management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, specifically Excel and Microsoft PPT.

- Proficiency in syndicated planning tools including, but not limited to, MRI/ Simmons, Vivvix, and Pathmatics.

- Experience within Prisma or MediaOcean.

- Strong negotiation skills.

- Multi-cultural planning a plus.
