Job Description

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and managing new business leads from initial discovery through closing. You will guide the action plan, communication strategy, and coordinate resources and materials required for all presentations and meetings.

This is not just a sales role - it requires a solutions-oriented mindset, deep curiosity about prospective clients' business challenges, and the ability to translate those insights into actionable opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and manage leads from discovery to close using tools and methodologies to qualify, vet, understand, evaluate, and recommend sales and communication approaches.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads, developing and executing contact strategies at all relevant levels of the target organization.
  • Collaborate with Growth Leaders on effort expenditure based on prospect evaluation and manage to that decision.
  • Work with Account, Operations, Strategy, Technology, and People teams to assemble response and pitch teams, brief and prepare subject-matter experts for success deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities related to meetings and presentations on both agency and client sides.

You will use your excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills to share information in a compelling manner to internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage pipeline reports with accurate forecasts, lead status meetings for senior leadership, and attend events and conferences to network with prospective clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have 7+ years of professional experience in sales/growth, preferably in the advertising/marketing industry. You should also have strong networking skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to research categories and synthesize insights for pursuits.

Able to convey a professional and solution-oriented approach to clients, demonstrating an understanding of marketer's challenges and concerns. Familiarity with basic marketing and advertising activities, emerging tech like automation and Generative AI, and experience leading sales operations management activities.
