Position Summary:
The Head of Lab Pack Product Strategy is responsible for spearheading the formulation and implementation of commercial initiatives that enhance product visibility, sales education, and revenue enhancement for the organization. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including the development of regional pricing strategies, campaign management, brand stewardship, and client relationship cultivation. With a profound comprehension of market demands and operational necessities, this leader crafts persuasive messaging and content that effectively engages the target demographic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market intelligence concerning customer segments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to design training programs and support mechanisms that reinforce the commercial emphasis on the designated product line.
  • Identify target customers by region and sector, coordinating with sales leadership to ensure a unified approach.
  • Develop a seller/doer initiative in partnership with operations to provide essential support across various regions.
  • Oversee specific marketing campaigns related to regional or product line initiatives and evaluate their outcomes.
  • Work alongside Corporate Marketing to ensure effective digital marketing strategies and social media engagement.
  • Participate in significant client meetings and quarterly business reviews to promote product line sales.
  • Lead the creation of value propositions for business units and provide training to commercial teams on these propositions.
  • Assume overall responsibility for cross-selling the lab pack product line across various sectors and sales regions.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience within a US-based distributed services organization, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Practical experience in selling and executing lab pack projects.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and business economics, particularly in the industrial sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in direct sales and operational management within the relevant domain.
  • Proven track record in supporting comprehensive sales activities.
  • Ability to develop and present commercial justifications, along with experience in organizing seminars, workshops, and trade exhibitions.
