**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team at Self-Help. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service to members in-person or by phone
- Process transactions, including account openings, loan payments, and cash withdrawals
- Assist members with balancing accounts, completing payroll deductions, and direct deposit cards
- Respond to member inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Promote credit union products and services based on member needs
- Refer loan product inquiries to Loan Officer
- Open new accounts and service existing accounts
- Set up new account files and provide members with necessary information for membership
- Provide translational assistance to members and staff
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 2 years of experience in banking or retail
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively organize and prioritize work
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Knowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets and banking
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use keyboard and data entry skills
