Public Transit Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Bus Driver Substitutes at Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As a Bus Driver (CDL), you will be responsible for operating buses safely and efficiently, following established routes and schedules, and communicating effectively with passengers. You will also be expected to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicles, as well as report any incidents or malfunctions to your supervisor. Additionally, you will be required to follow established policies and procedures, comply with all safety requirements, and communicate proactively with your supervisor regarding workflow, problems, and suggestions.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have one year of bus driving experience, including transporting passengers. You must also be able to pass a criminal record and driver record check. In addition, you will need to complete driver training courses within a required timeframe and obtain a Certificate of Completion. Finally, you will be required to participate in random drug and alcohol testing as established by Agency Drug & Alcohol policies for safety-sensitive employees.
Compensation and Benefits
