Roselane Health Center by Harborview is seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor for the evening shift from 3 PM to 11 PM to manage and oversee nursing operations effectively.

Your role will involve fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment while adhering to quality standards and policies. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse with a solid foundation in managerial and administrative skills. Attributes such as efficiency, dedication, strong listening abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and evaluate all nursing staff, including registered nurses and LPNs.
  • Assist in managing daily work schedules.
  • Guide staffing procedures to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Support the achievement of departmental goals.
  • Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care processes.
  • Enforce policies to ensure legal compliance and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Manage budgets and monitor financial expenditures.
  • Address issues and deficiencies as they arise.
  • Oversee record-keeping practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and professionals to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Report findings and updates to upper management.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a supervisory nurse in a Long Term Care environment.
  • Understanding of basic budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
  • Commitment to staying informed about evolving standards in nursing administration.
  • Exceptional leadership and personnel development skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and stress management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving.
  • Degree in nursing; a Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare administration is advantageous.
  • Valid nursing and CPR certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Work Setting: In-person, Long-term care, Nursing home

Experience: 1 year in nursing (Preferred)

License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred), RN (Required)
