Empire Care Centers is seeking a skilled LPN/RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for assessing resident needs, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising both LPNs and CNAs.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing and Scheduling: Assist the Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing recommendations, interviews, hiring, and orienting professional staff.
- Clinical Leadership: Collaborate with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program that meets the goals of the organization and the individual center.
- Nursing Leadership: Provide leadership to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNAs, and professional medical staff.
- Interdisciplinary Care Planning: Initiate and actively participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings to ensure that the plan addresses all triggered indicators.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.
- Quality Improvement: Prepare accurate reports of Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS, track and trend this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team, and improve quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.
- Education and Training: Implement an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.
- Licensure: Licensed Nurse in the State of GA
