Job SummaryThe mission of the Director of Events is to organize, oversee, and execute engaging and successful fundraising events as a part of an integrated resource development strategy designed by the Vice President of Development.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership, Management, and Accountability: Provides day-to-day leadership of the Events team and manages multi-regional events.
- Develop Event Strategy: Develops strategy for special events that align with the organizational objectives and can be replicated.
- Lead Regional Implementation of Events: Leads regional partners in the decision-making processes in each event.
- Execute Events: Ensures that events are implemented effectively and achieve organizational goals across all regions.
- Bachelor's Degree or Experience Equivalency: In event coordination required
- Minimum of 3 Years of Experience: In fundraising for non-profit organizations preferred
- Minimum of 3 Years of Proven Management: And execution of engaging and effective special events required
- Computer Literacy: And proficiency in Google Suites required
- Experience with Databases: Preferred
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Required
- Proven Ability to Manage Multiple Complex Projects: Required
