Relocation Coordinator

About the Role
The Relocation Coordinator, Relocations & Set-up Services is a full-time 12-month position that reports to the Director of Facilities & Construction at Tyler Junior College. The successful candidate will assist in event set-ups, relocating furniture and equipment on campus, and provide support to College personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate moves and setups as requested by College personnel.
- Meet with representatives who have requested an event setup for facility use.
- Determine requirements needed for event setups and any additional equipment required for the event.
- Assist with setting up TJC tents and coordinating any additional resources with Facilities & Construction.
- Maintain an inventory of total number of tables and chairs available on campus to be used for setups.
- Assist in relocating College-owned furniture and equipment.
- Assist in delivery of desks and chairs for special purpose requests to the appropriate location.
- Maintain an inventory of special purpose placements and retrieve those at the end of each semester.
- Assist in maintaining College storage facilities, along with appropriate procedures to ensure the security of stored items.
- Provide backup support, when requested, with receiving freight from various parcel companies, sorting and evaluating freight, and transferring freight to the various locations across TJC campuses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of full-time work experience.
- A minimum one year of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience working with event set-ups or related experience.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
