Configuration Control Specialist

ClearAvenue LLC is in search of a skilled Configuration Control Specialist to contribute to a significant Government project. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in configuration management and possess the following competencies:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project teams in establishing and maintaining configuration baselines.
  • Develop and manage configuration documentation and oversee the Configuration Management (CM) database.
  • Evaluate and suggest enhancements to current CM processes.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of the CM database.
  • Plan and conduct audits of the CM database, supporting the implementation of audit findings.
  • Create security protocols to prevent unauthorized access or damage to project assets.
  • Collaborate with configuration teams to improve and refine CM tools.
  • Support the management, upkeep, and automation of CM tools.
  • Ensure accurate version control of software deliverables.
  • Supervise the rollout of software applications in testing and deployment settings.
  • Investigate configuration challenges and recommend effective solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field from an accredited institution, or a minimum of three years of additional configuration management experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in managing software and hardware configurations.
  • Capability to document and articulate configuration modifications.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification is preferred.
Security Clearance:

Must possess a minimum DOD Top Secret clearance.
