Key Responsibilities:


As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with a highly skilled Government/Contractor Integrated Product Support (IPS) team to provide CM/DM processing expertise for a significant acquisition program.
  • Assist the Government Configuration Management team and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in the management of Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) and Government data, ensuring compliance with DoD and NAVAIR policies.
  • Offer recommendations to the Government lead regarding CM/DM policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Implement configuration management/data analysis policies, including processing configuration control and updating software and hardware configuration items.
  • Maintain document repositories, ensuring proper usage of features such as Check In/Out, metadata association, folder structure, standardized naming conventions, version management, and access control.
  • Support the development and customization of Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents.
  • Facilitate the review and selection of Data Acquisition citations, including Data Item Descriptions (DID) and applicable standards.
  • Manage and track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI), including physical hardware configuration items and related documentation.
  • Engage with Customers and Contractors to reconcile data delivery records.
  • Handle data transfer requests, ensuring compliance with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ITAR, and other export control regulations.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a CM environment, including documentation approvals and baseline verification.

Compensation and Benefits:
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency, with a salary range for this position between $72,000 - $115,000, determined based on various factors. We offer a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare, paid leave, retirement plans (including ESOP and 401k), insurance options, and education and training assistance.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Self-starter capabilities with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with modern databases and data management practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with all facets of the IPS.
