We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Systems Operations and Configuration Management Specialist to enhance our team. This position is available in various locations, and we welcome candidates from multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

The Systems Operations and Configuration Management Specialist is essential in overseeing system operations, deploying and maintaining infrastructure, and providing advanced support for configuration management tasks. This role involves optimizing performance and troubleshooting components in a complex, multi-network environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering solutions to ensure systems meet operational and configuration management standards.
  • Monitoring diverse networks, devices, applications, and services within an enterprise IT framework.
  • Managing upgrades, patches, and hotfixes while ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Leading a 24/7 support team across multiple domains to ensure mission success.
  • Utilizing designated monitoring tools to oversee enterprise services and generate necessary tracking tickets.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Providing briefings to leadership on system health and supporting accreditation efforts.
  • Assisting in user support, guidance, and training while maintaining documentation.
  • Administering and maintaining critical systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Leveraging data management tools to enhance operational efficiency and security monitoring.
  • Conducting training and mentoring for team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of additional experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • DoD m IAT Level II certification required within 6 months of starting the role.
  • Experience in leading system operations and configuration management teams.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and configuration management systems.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and network setup.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry-standard certifications related to data management and monitoring tools.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and occasionally move within the office environment.
