Animal Care Facility Supervisor

Your Responsibilities:
Your work schedule will be structured from Monday to Friday, with the expectation of weekend availability and occasional holiday shifts.
As the Shelter and Kennel Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional care for our boarders and shelter animals, including those needing specialized medical attention.
- Marketing shelter animals and coordinating their readiness for adoption.
- Ensuring proper nutrition, administering medications, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Overseeing group play sessions and monitoring the health and well-being of dogs, cats, and other animals.
- Participating in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
- Maintaining a clean and disease-free facility while delivering gentle and compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience in animal care.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a kennel environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the veterinary medical team and adhere to established protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
