Position Overview:

The Construction Supervisor will oversee the field planning and execution of various roadway construction projects as directed by the Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and actively promote all Safety policies and procedures, including reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses to uphold our core value of Safety.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to organize and plan work activities.
  • Supervise the completion of time sheets for labor and equipment, along with daily reports detailing quantities worked.
  • Monitor and evaluate crew productivity and goals on a daily basis.
  • Enforce quality control and Company safety standards across all work aspects.
  • Follow the project construction timeline to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct daily team meetings, stretching sessions, and weekly Toolbox Talks with crew members.
  • Provide job hazard analyses prior to commencing new work activities.
  • Develop a material handling plan in collaboration with the Superintendent.
  • Ensure collection and submission of delivery receipts to field engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a supervisor in roadway construction.
  • Proficient in calculating and setting grades, as well as knowledgeable about various roadway construction equipment and forming systems.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
