The Treasury Management Officer plays a critical role in driving the bank's treasury management business, collaborating with branches to identify, analyze, sell, and support treasury/cash management products and services to business clients and targeted prospective candidates.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive top financial performance, client service, and prospecting excellence to ensure the department and supported branches meet service level and organizational goals as related to Treasury Management.
- Enhance the client experience by presenting the full range of bank products and services that will be of use to the customer.
- Lead and work with Commercial and SBA officers along with branch leadership to ensure the bank is driving new business and financial performance.
- Attract, develop, and retain high-performance talent to TMO roles as they are added across the bank's footprint.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing to build marketing collateral and consultation tools using PowerPoint and other resources.
- Build and deploy sales campaigns to drive fee income and deposit revenue for the bank through proactive promotion of cash management services.
- Lead activities with external stakeholders and clients to ensure all product offerings meet their strategic goals.
- Develop product-specific marketing initiatives and support risk management, compliance, and audit needs.
- Manage end-to-end business and financial results for multi-faceted, complex products.
- Drive business, financial, and customer experience results of new and existing products.
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients.
- Support customers and team in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
- Provide best practices and guidance with treasury management, deposit, and onboarding process.
- Collaborate with key members of operations staff to ensure fulfillment, onboarding, training, and billing are client centric.
- Participate in community and business functions/groups to provide a positive image for the bank within the marketplace.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes.
- Business Development: Knowledge of prospecting principles, processes, and skills.
- Selling: Apply knowledge of banking products and services to meet customer needs.
- Risk Management: Strong acumen with regard to risk mitigation management and compliance.
- Collaboration: Knowledge and ability to promote a culture of information sharing and working together.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational problems.
- Innovation: Develops new ideas and initiatives that improve the performance of the organization.
- Solutions Development: Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration preferred.
- A minimum of 3+ years' direct experience in Treasury management sales and/or product management.
- 3 or more years' experience in an operational and/or branch environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20lbs.
- Must be able to sit/stand 90% of the time, bend, and stoop.
- Requires ability to use the keyboard for up to 8 hours.
- Travel will be required.
