Morton Buildings, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of post-frame construction solutions. We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure buildings and components are manufactured and delivered to safety and quality standards.
  • Organize and lead building component production in an efficient and profitable manner.
  • Maintain a culture of safety and promote safe operations within the production area.
  • Provide direct supervision for hourly production employees, including scheduling work assignments and on-the-job training.
  • Drive cost-effective manufacturing methods and procedures through a culture of lean.
  • Foster a team-focused environment through collaboration with local management and other department supervisors.
  • Support talent management for the designated manufacturing facility.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree or 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry, EEOC, and DOT regulations.
  • Promotes teamwork and demonstrates leadership skills.
  • Displays aptitude for teaching and coaching of employees.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven process improvement efforts and results achieved.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow-through.
  • Dedicated to creating an environment focused on safety, quality, continual process improvement, and profitability.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook email, Word, and Excel.
