Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Burgess & Niple, Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water/wastewater infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD drafting and construction-related services.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop water/wastewater infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD drafting and construction-related services.
  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.
  • Perform construction-related services, including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, and field inspections.
  • Provide support for project managers and senior design engineers.
  • Be available to travel to other offices to provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • EIT or EI registration with a desire to become a PE.
  • 0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to utilize virtual collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
