About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Income Associate Portfolio Manager to join our team at AllianceBernstein. As a key member of our Portfolio Management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of portfolio decisions and ensuring the efficient execution of fixed income trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Monitoring and Compliance

Continuously monitor portfolios to ensure compliance with guidelines, portfolio and security data accuracy, performance reporting, and analysis for ad-hoc requests.

Trade Execution and Client Support

Facilitate successful account opening and closing, and liaise with sales and portfolio management to address client requests.

Process Improvement and Automation

Identify opportunities to re-engineer and automate processes to increase operational efficiency, improve client service, and enhance risk controls.

Collaboration and Support

Provide support to Portfolio Managers, Sales, Trading, and Operations to deliver against client requirements.

Requirements
  • Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills

Candidates must have outstanding attention to detail, coupled with a proven ability to think logically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Process Improvement and Technology

Motivated self-starter with a passion for process improvement and leveraging technology to solve complex business problems.

Financial Markets and Risk Management

Strong interest/experience in financial markets, notably asset management, and exceptional understanding of risk management and overall control environment.

Communication and Teamwork

Effective communication skills paired with a strong desire to work in a team-oriented organization.
