Job Title: Portfolio Manager

This is a challenging and highly visible role that requires a strong understanding of project management principles and practices. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategic programs and projects, working closely with the Transformation team and other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the analysis, selection, and roll-out of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure functional area deliverables are understood, cross-functionally aligned, and execution of deliverables and timelines are on track.
  • Lead and coordinate delivery of assigned projects, providing direct input and individual contributions as necessary to ensure results delivery.
  • Prepare regular, thorough, and articulate executive summaries for senior leadership and stakeholders on project status and performance.
  • Monitor, refine, and track project budgets, ensuring VCP initiatives meet stated goals and objectives within the allotted budget, defined schedule, and parameters.
Requirements:
  • Four-year bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of five years of project management and/or strategy execution leadership work, with two years of agile/scrum experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking, business impact, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain collaborative working relationships at all levels and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or PgMP certification.
  • Experience in company-wide change management initiatives and strong knowledge of project management and agile methodologies.
