Job Summary

The Seton Hall University AV Coordinator is responsible for providing audio visual equipment and technical support for classes, meetings, and special events held on campus. This role requires a strong understanding of audio visual technologies and the ability to work with faculty and staff to ensure seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on audio visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inventory and Delivery: Coordinate the inventory and delivery of audio visual equipment to support events and classes.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to faculty and staff on the use of audio visual equipment and technologies.
  • Clerical and Administrative: Perform clerical duties, including answering phones, taking reservations, and maintaining schedules.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in audio visual field and educational setting
  • Extensive knowledge of audio visual technologies, including projection systems, sound, video, and recording
  • Experience with Crestron Control, Extron Control systems, and MS TEAMS
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to climb ladders, crawl under desks, and lift heavy equipment up to 50lbs. The position also requires extensive walking and exposure to weather elements.
