Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting and Human Resources professional to join our team at Precise Personnel, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards & regulations, and all Human Resources general duties.

Key Responsibilities for Accounting:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Auditing: Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • System Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new accounting practices and technologies.

Key Responsibilities for Human Resources:

  • Conduct onboarding for all new employees.
  • Organize and maintain employee files.
  • Update benefit eligibility, enrollment, and vendor management.
  • Provide management with employee information for reviews.
  • Prepare documentation for promotions and terminations.
  • Knowledge of CA and Federal HR laws and regulations, OSHA regulations.
  • Track and respond to EDD claims.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Administration of company benefits (medical, dental, life plans, 401k, vacation, sick time).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards, OSHA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other departments.
