Human Resources and Accounting Specialist

Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Human Resources and Accounting Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team at Precise Personnel, LLC. The ideal candidate will play a dual role, managing both financial operations and human resources functions to ensure organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Financial Record Management: Maintain and update comprehensive financial records, including ledgers and balance sheets.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Budget Development: Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts to guide business decisions.
- Auditing Processes: Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors to uphold financial integrity.
- Tax Responsibilities: Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Bank Reconciliations: Regularly perform reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights through financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to accounting practices and technologies.
Human Resources Duties:
- Conduct onboarding processes for new hires.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive employee records.
- Manage employee benefits, including eligibility and enrollment.
- Provide management with relevant employee information for performance reviews.
- Prepare documentation for promotions and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal HR laws and regulations.
- Track and respond to employee claims effectively.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations matters.
- Administer company benefits programs, including medical and retirement plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and OSHA regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
