Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Systems Engineer to join our team in Northern California. As a Field Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer requests for service and support in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform installations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and other field service activities as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair instrument issues to the board or subassembly level.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in engineering or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or similar systems.
  • Biomedical training or experience in host/remote communications and network systems a plus.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner in an autonomous work environment without direct daily supervision.
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence.

bioMerieux Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $41.00 to $54.00 per hour, plus an annual bonus based on individual performance.
