Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support our production operations by ensuring optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electronics and mechanical systems, along with a commitment to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair test equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, documenting all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with teams to support daily production activities and resolve any technical issues.
  • Assist engineering teams in the release of new products, fixtures, and modifications to existing products.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and implement improvements in manufacturing performance and product quality.
  • Apply Kaizen and Lean techniques to streamline processes and reduce waste within operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions to enhance production efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, processes, and equipment specifications.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Experience with automation technologies and their application in a manufacturing context is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with quality assurance to drive improvements in manufacturing performance.

  • Lift/Carry: 5 to 25 lbs.
  • Fine Motor Movements: Over 70%
