Key Responsibilities

  • Field Inspection Coordination: Direct and improve the field inspection program, collaborating with the field team to uphold product quality standards.
  • Process Simulation Management: Oversee conditioning requirements, which may include supervising staff, managing data entry, and conducting sizing recommendations and analyses.
  • Auditing Oversight: Manage the auditing process, including scheduling and conducting internal audits, as well as ensuring compliance with external audit quality certifications.
  • Variance and Non-Conformity Management: Act as the primary contact for site-related requests regarding variances and non-conformities.
  • SAP Process Monitoring: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of quality-related data within SAP processes.
  • Quality Metrics Analysis: Analyze and report on product quality metrics and performance indicators.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of seed labeling laws, seed certification laws, and interstate shipment regulations.
Qualifications
  • Quality Assurance Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing quality assurance and quality control principles to meet safety and reliability commitments.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to create systematic measurements and visualizations for quality performance, proactively anticipating trends.
  • Educational Background: A BA/BS degree is strongly preferred, or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Quality Management: 2-4 years in quality assurance or quality management practices.
  • Audit Leadership: Experience as a leading auditor or auditee for internal and external audits for certifications.
  • Effective Communication: Strong ability to communicate with impact and gain commitment from stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Proven skills in leading change initiatives and effectively managing resistance.
  • Customer Focus: A commitment to meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and leverage diversity.
