Job Title: Manufacturing Administrator

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Administrator to support the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with experience in handling administrative duties within a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the manufacturing and production teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and order status, utilizing ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate and process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with the preparation and documentation of reports related to production output, material usage, and quality control, providing insights for process improvements.
  • Monitor and update inventory systems, ensuring that materials are available for production and reordering supplies as needed.
  • Manage communication between the manufacturing floor and other departments, including procurement, sales, and management, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality control standards, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist with data entry and the maintenance of ERP systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, training sessions, and other events as needed, utilizing strong organizational skills.
  • Prepare and distribute reports related to production, cost control, and project timelines, providing insights for business decisions.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or higher in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience (2-3 years) in an administrative role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
