Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the manufacturing and production teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and order status, utilizing ERP systems for tracking production, inventory, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate and process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality control standards.
- Assist with the preparation and documentation of reports related to production output, material usage, and quality control, providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
- Monitor and update inventory systems, ensuring that materials are available for production and reordering supplies as needed, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.
- Manage communication between the manufacturing floor and other departments, including procurement, sales, and management, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality control standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Assist with data entry and the maintenance of ERP systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of production, inventory, and procurement activities.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, training sessions, and other events as needed, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills.
- Prepare and distribute reports related to production, cost control, and project timelines, providing stakeholders with timely and accurate information.
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or higher in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience (2-3 years) in an administrative role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and procurement procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a focus on accuracy and productivity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
