Responsibilities

The Client Engagement Specialist (CES) plays a vital role in achieving the organization’s objectives as a field-based business development representative, consistently meeting the expected volume for referrals and admissions. The CES serves as the voice of the customer. This position is responsible for maintaining and expanding current market share while developing new business sources to support the branch’s business plan. Collaborating with the Agency Director and Director of Business Operations, the CES will devise and implement specific strategies and tactics to meet revenue targets, enhance patient experience, and achieve profitability goals. Depending on the assigned business unit, the CES's primary clientele includes skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, community-based residential facilities, physicians, professional associations, and organizations within the established market.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and qualifies healthcare relationships within the regional territory, focusing on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, community-based residential facilities, physicians, and other healthcare providers and hospital systems.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key customer sources through regular contact and follow-up procedures.
  • Acts as the primary contact for client troubleshooting and conflict resolution.
  • Responsible for creating and executing an annual business plan for the region that includes strategies for exceeding established budgets and goals.
  • Maintains accurate data on customer relationships within RSL for each key referral source to provide necessary client information to build strong ties and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represents CHI Health at Home in relevant professional organizations and within the community.
  • Assists in educating the community about available services.
  • Follows up on patient referrals to CHI Health at Home, assisting facility discharge coordinators in coordinating quality home care services for clients.

Qualifications

Healthcare professional credential, Bachelor’s degree, or comparable business experience required.

A minimum of one year of related sales experience, preferably in a healthcare/medical field or patient transportation.

Valid Driver’s license.

Valid Current Auto Insurance.

Pay Range

$36.61/hour
