Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Effectv, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing, servicing, and maintaining a base of local clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or other media services to achieve established annual sales goals within assigned sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Research and Analysis: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to develop and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products.
  2. Local Ad Sales Revenue Generation: Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  3. Client Service and Support: Interact with various internal departments to carry out client requirements, such as scheduling advertising, monitoring account activities, and managing collections.
  4. Customer and Prospect Management: Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in the development of sales forecasts.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Complete required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports.
  6. Prospecting and Business Development: Seek new customers by continuously prospecting following Company's planned sales strategies and tactics.
  7. Confidential Information and Reporting: Analyze confidential information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence.
  8. Independent Judgment and Discretion: Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  9. Attendance and Flexibility: Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma / GED
  • Relevant Work Experience: 2-5 Years
  • Salary: Primary Location Pay Range: $24,150.00 - $50,025.00
  • Targeted Commission: $31,368

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
