Business Development Specialist

We are a growing recruitment agency start-up seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to manage our recruiting desks. This is a full-time, remote role that focuses on business development and account management.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for making 70+ calls per day, sending 40+ emails daily, and connecting with 20+ people on LinkedIn each day. You will utilize our CRM/ATS (Loxo), lead generation platform (Agency Leads), and job boards (ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed) to find top talent.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining recruitment pipelines, answering emails/messages, and making calls relevant to ongoing business efforts. We encourage mining candidates for lead data, identifying interviewing companies, hiring managers, and obtaining contact information and references.
As a team member, you will have access to administrative support for tasks like job listings, platform streamlining, calendar organization, and scheduling meetings/interviews.
This commission-only role offers no benefits at this time, but as the company grows, we plan to transition to a model including salaries. New hires will have a fast-track opportunity to equity or franchising.
No experience necessary; we provide training. Criminal record? Not a problem. We believe in second chances.
Salary Estimate: $50,000 - $75,000 per year
