Position Overview
ARSIEM is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Assurance Specialist. This role is integral in supporting our government clients and ensuring robust information security measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the information assurance program for a specific program, organization, system, or enclave.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, implementation, and enforcement of information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Maintain the operational security posture of information systems to ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily security operations and manage security aspects of the information system.
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to facilitate security authorization processes.
  • Provide configuration management for security-related software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for handling classified information.
  • Prepare and review essential documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessment Reports.
  • Support security authorization activities in alignment with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework (NIST RMF).

Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization.
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas: current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, or encryption techniques.
  • Familiarity with commercial security products and security incident management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering is required; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  • Possession of one or more relevant certifications such as CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, or HCISPP.

Required Skills
  • Support senior Information Systems Security Officers in implementing and enforcing security policies.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation and evaluating security solutions.
  • Manage configuration for security-relevant information system components.
  • Ensure compliance with established security policies and maintain operational security posture.
  • Provide support to the Information System Security Manager in maintaining cybersecurity standards.
  • Interact with various stakeholders to define and achieve cybersecurity objectives.

Clearance Requirement
This position necessitates an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered.
