Security Clearance Requirement:

Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph and U.S. Citizenship.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a security officer representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and integration of secure networking and computing environments.
  • Develop and maintain system security certification and accreditation services for our IT Refresh and Reset Program in line with contractual obligations.
  • Analyze and address complex customer security challenges, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with customers, various locations, and vendors to resolve security issues and provide guidance on containment or resolution.
  • Ensure that security problems are accurately identified and that solutions meet user requirements.
  • Provide advice on best practices for the design, development, and ongoing monitoring of information systems.
  • Offer guidance on vulnerability management and scanning practices.
  • Utilize knowledge of Information Assurance policies and procedures to design and implement secure networking and computing environments.
  • Engage with Information Community (IC) customers and project team members to support the enforcement of security designs for systems and architectures.
  • Assist in security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Identify overall security requirements for the appropriate handling and protection of government data.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience is required. Alternatively, seven (7) years of additional experience in information technology or engineering may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience in providing security solutions in a customer service environment.
  • Relevant cyber and/or IT certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA's Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Security+ (Sec+) for DoD 8570 compliance are required.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, conveying solutions and best practices.
