Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at ManpowerGroup. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for facilitating the completion of day-to-day activities supporting the PCBA production line.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Engineering to design and develop new products and maintain current products.
  2. Plan and Establish Work Schedules to meet production goals, including assignments and production plans for team members.
  3. Operate SMT Production Line equipment, including setup and operation of stencil, P&P, oven, and other equipment.
  4. Identify Areas for Process Improvement to increase efficiency, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and lead Kaizen events.
  5. Implement and Maintain Lean Practices, including 5S, Waste Elimination, Built-in Quality, Continuous Improvement, Kanbans, and JIT, to create an organized and efficient work environment.
  6. Maintain a Safe Working Environment and utilize safe working methods to ensure efficient work.
  7. Monitor Workmanship to ensure product specifications are achieved.
  8. Manage Documentation and complete daily reports and required Epicor transactions.
  9. Program and Debug Pick & Place Equipment.
  10. Perform Daily PM's on equipment, including cleaning.
  11. Monitor Performance of production equipment and team members, and develop and implement improvements to optimize process efficiency.
  12. Test, Program, Inspect, and Troubleshoot PCBA's.
  13. Perform Troubleshooting and Repair of Production and Engineering equipment.
  14. Assist in Maintaining Calibration of testing/inspection equipment.
  15. Support Continuous Improvement Activities.
  16. Work Safely and address unsafe conditions.
  17. Perform Assigned Duties by Supervisor, including OT and weekend work as necessary to support Manufacturing Operations.
Requirements
  1. Basic Computer Skills including Microsoft Office required.
  2. Experience with PCBA Production Equipment, including stencil printer, Pick & Place, wave solder, X-Ray, AOI, etc.
  3. Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English.
  4. Good Analytical Skills and Problem-Solving abilities.
  5. Detail-Oriented, Accurate, and Organized with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Ability to Work Independently and as part of a team.
  7. Confidentiality and Time Management skills.
  8. Operate Electric Table Saws, Drill Presses, Sanders, Electric Meters, and Other Machines in the tool shop, with basic machining, welding, and/or fabrication skills a plus.
  9. Use Basic Hand Tools and Battery-Operated Tools.
  10. Maintain and Repair Small Tools and Equipment.
  11. ODB+ File Import and Checking.
  12. Run Design for Assembly Checks (DFA).
  13. Run Design for Manufacturing Checks (DFM).
  14. Verify Design of Panel/Array for PCB.
  15. Ensure Proper Stencil for SMT Build.
  16. Work Collaboratively on Footprint Design for Components.
  17. Work Collaboratively on Geometry or Parts that Will Need Either Overprint or Underprint on Stencils for SMT.
  18. Reflow Profiles.
  19. Types of Solders, Solder Balls, and Manufacturers of Solder.
  20. High Pin Count and Design Packages BGA's.3,.4,.5mm.
  21. Experience with Highly Dense Designs. Minimum Component Spacing.
  22. Minimum and Maximum Allowed Panel/Array for Running SMT.
  23. Know and Understand Different Thickness of Stencils.
  24. Know and Understand Different Coatings of the Stencils.
  25. AOI Setup, Programming, and Learning.
