Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes aimed at improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity.
- Initiate and manage lean manufacturing projects to streamline operations.
- Design and optimize equipment and processes, ensuring efficient layouts and effective material and information flows.
- Provide support to production teams, documenting processes and creating assembly instructions in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Develop visual aids and tooling to assist in production activities.
- Utilize expertise in assembly methods and processes, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Green Belt certification in Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Proficient in engineering processes, including change control and labor standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as AutoCAD, Arena, or Flexsim.
Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, coupled with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
