Position Title:

Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are in search of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who will play a pivotal role in steering technological advancements while ensuring timely and budget-conscious project execution.

This position encompasses the design, development, analysis, documentation, and testing support of products, systems, or subsystems. The engineer will be expected to independently manage technical projects and also provide mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers.

The ideal candidate will evaluate customer specifications and requirements, crafting designs that effectively address them, with cost considerations being a crucial design factor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing budget, cost, and scheduling insights for design tasks.
  • Documenting component and subsystem specifications along with material requirements.
  • Conducting design analyses as required.

The engineer should possess extensive knowledge and experience across various engineering disciplines.

Essential Skills:
  • 20 years of experience in analog and power electronics, including POL supplies, isolated forward or flyback converters, and class D amplifiers.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, EMI testing, and simulations using LTspice.
  • Experience in digital CCA design involving FPGAs, microcontrollers, DDR4 memory, HD-SDI, Coaxpress, HDMI, high-speed transceivers, SPI, UART, and I2C.
  • Proficiency in guiding PCB layout and reviewing designs prior to fabrication.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Ability to independently complete technical projects.
  • Capability to mentor and coach fellow engineers.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and clients.
  • Commitment to supporting and upholding the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

Employment Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 months.

Work Environment: This role requires full-time onsite presence.
