Job Title: Channel Sales Engineer

Legrand North America is seeking a highly skilled Channel Sales Engineer to join our Data Center Power and Control Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our channel partner relationships and driving sales growth in the data center market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and resellers, understanding their needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert on ZPE Systems' products and solutions, providing in-depth knowledge and support to channel partners.
  • Channel Sales Support: Collaborate with channel partners to develop and execute strategic sales plans, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and drive growth through the channel.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to gather the necessary information and insights for creating accurate and effective training content.
  • Create Engaging Training Videos: Produce high-quality training videos, including scripting, recording, and editing, to provide visual and interactive learning experiences for channel partners and internal resources.
  • Continuously Update Training Content: Regularly review and update training materials and videos to ensure they reflect the latest product features, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Measure Training Effectiveness: Develop and implement evaluation tools and metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback to continuously improve the quality and relevance of training materials.
  • Maintain Training Resource Library: Organize and manage a comprehensive library of training materials and videos, ensuring easy access for channel partners and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales engineering, with a focus on networking or IT solutions in the data center, campus, or branch.
  • Knowledge and expertise in one of the following technologies: security, route/switch, virtualization, LTE 4G/5G, WLAN/Wi-Fi, network automation, Python, Ansible, etc., Linux operating systems.
  • Proven track record of success in managing the channel partner relationship and exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical background with knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, security.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools preferred.
  • Experience with presentation and video editing tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 25-30%.
