Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome customers as they arrive at the facility.

Evaluate customer needs, clarify available accounts and services, and assist in selecting the most suitable product or service tailored to the customer's requirements.

Facilitate the opening of new personal or business accounts, including checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CD), safe deposit boxes, online banking services, ATM and debit cards, and credit cards.

Ensure all related documentation is accurately prepared.

Provide timely and precise service for account maintenance and research requests, address changes, stop payment requests, telephone and wire transfer requests, check orders, funds transfers, and other customer inquiries.

Address customer questions and concerns, resolving issues or discrepancies related to customer accounts.

Efficiently process and record teller transactions for bank customers, including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, conducting money transfers, placing stop payments, cash advances, and other related services.

Verify and balance cash drawer daily while assisting in identifying cash discrepancies.

Exhibit sound risk management in decision-making, demonstrating a solid understanding of guidelines for fraud prevention and robbery. Comply with loss control measures by maintaining cash drawer within prescribed limits.

Prepare necessary documentation for compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, including obtaining appropriate identification from customers and non-customers.

Actively engage in the retail sales program; participate in relevant sales training; implement sales program initiatives; collaborate with the Branch Lead to establish goals and strive to achieve targeted objectives.

Make referrals to other business units for both traditional and non-traditional banking products and services.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of compliance, security, and regulatory issues related to teller and customer service areas (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, E, DD, P, OFACE, etc.) demonstrated by the appropriate application of these regulations in daily operations.

Consistently provide Exceptional Service by promptly and professionally greeting customers in-person and over the phone, fostering a welcoming and customer-centric environment.



Qualifications

Basic math, computer, and typing skills are essential.
Attention to detail is critical.

Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance with flexibility to work hours as needed, including but not limited to rotating Saturdays, as determined to meet business needs.

Must demonstrate good judgment skills and the capacity to handle confidential information.

Strong customer relations skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
