Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project execution by providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and delivery teams to achieve project objectives
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and contractual requirements
  • Assist in the development of project schedules, progress reports, and other project-related documentation
  • Provide training and support to installers and subcontractors on Johnson Controls' scopes of work
  • Facilitate the selection, ordering, and delivery of materials and equipment for assigned projects
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, installation techniques, and project specifications
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support project delivery and team operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent work-related experience
  • Minimum 4 years of installation and crew leadership experience in the building construction industry
  • Experience with lighting, HVAC controls, electrical systems, solar systems, BAS management, fire management, and security management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment
  • Ability to travel extensively based on assigned projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to identify and document various types of systems and propose alternatives
  • Good communication skills with customers, subcontractors, and labor populations
