Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy department. This includes managing the workflow, ensuring efficient operations, and providing a positive patient experience. You will also be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers, as well as leading training and performance management initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacy operations, including workflow, inventory, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including coaching and development.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
