Talent Acquisition Specialist

At Gaylor Electric, we're committed to delivering exceptional results and building a culture of excellence. As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a critical role in attracting top talent and creating a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top performers.
  • Create a personalized candidate experience through targeted marketing and outreach.
  • Source, screen, and present exceptional candidates for exempt positions, craft electricians, and field leadership roles.
  • Prepare and send offers for approval through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Partners and Talent Performance Manager to drive workforce planning and meet staffing needs.
  • Build strategic partnerships with local educational institutions, community organizations, and professional associations to drive recruitment efforts.
  • Facilitate employee check-ins to ensure a high-performing quality candidate and employee lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular onboarding for new employees as needed.
  • Travel up to 35% within local markets to build relationships and drive recruitment efforts.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or Construction Management, or 5+ years of leadership experience in the construction trades.
  • 5+ years of previous experience in construction recruiting preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and networking abilities.
