Specialized NICU Care Specialist

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care for infants in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Norman Regional Health System.
About the Role:We are seeking a Registered Nurse I with NICU experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate total patient care for patients by leading and directing an interdisciplinary care team
- Care for infants in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Diploma or Associates degree (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- At least 1 year NICU Level III or higher acuity experience
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) training preferred
- $65 flat rate per hour
- 13 week assignment with the possibility to extend, if needed
- Hours not guaranteed
